If you’re looking for something to watch when you’re not SnapShoving, then look no further. Introducing SnapShove reviews. Movies, TV, Games, Streaming Content, and more, we’re giving our thoughts to help you decide what, or what not, to watch.
The scale is pretty easy. If something is great it’s a SnapShove. If it is just ok, that’s a SnapCall, and if something isn’t great, that’s a SnapFold.
I end up watching a lot of television, since I really enjoy storytelling and will watch just about anything. This is part of the reason I have seen almost all of Grey’s Anatomy, but enough about that. I just finished streaming Wentworth. It’s a show based in a women’s prison in Australia. Sound familiar?
If you’re a fan of Orange is the New Black, but are looking for something with a bit of a harder edge, then Wentworth is what you’re looking for. The more recent seasons can be a little contrived, but the first two are definitely a SnapShove.
Seasons 3 and 4 may be sliding into SnapCalls, but the series as a whole remains a SnapCall.
If you’re a SnapShover with kids, this is a no brainer SnapShove. Disney has always made entertaining movies with catchy songs and Moana is no different.
I recently saw this film with two adult friends and it was just a SnapCall for me. I have really liked some recent animated films, mostly from Pixar. This one was just ok. This is a nice story with a female protagonist, which there isn’t much of. Moana is a fun watch and I’m happy I saw it, but I’m going with SnapCall.
If you’re looking for something on Network TV, Speechless is a half-hour sitcom on ABC. Speechless is a show about J.J. and his family. J.J. is a quadriplegic and uses a board and laser to communicate, thus the name Speechless.
This is the first season of the show and it’s fast-paced and easy to watch. It has a little comedy and some heart, and is a SnapCall if you’re looking for something brand new.
